Chad Forcey

Chad’s career in public policy and advocacy spans more than two decades. His work at the Pennsylvania State Capitol in Harrisburg has focused on energy and agriculture and includes the passage of key bills such as Commercial PACE for county-backed energy financing, ACRE and the enforcement of Pennsylvania’s Right to Farm Act, and the development of Community Solar legislation.

Chad Forcey served as Executive Director for the Pennsylvania Conservative Energy Forum from 2018-2024. He has testified before the PA House and Senate, published multiple op-eds in PA newspapers, and provided commentary on television and online for national and international press. His work on conservation and business issues has earned national recognition and policy awards in three states. Chad’s work for the Irrigation Association in Washington, DC, and the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association in Harrisburg resulted in key federal appropriations, including an $11.6 billion line item in the 2009 stimulus that leveraged $33 million in grants for air and water quality in Philadelphia.

Chad began his career in public service as an aide with the Virginia House of Delegates, as Personal Assistant to Pennsylvania Governor Mark Schweiker (2001-2002), and with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. Chad is a member of the Penn State Agriculture Council and the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and provides industry and conservation advice to the U.S. Senate as a member of Senator Bob Casey’s Agriculture Advisory Team. He holds a B.S. in History from Liberty University and is currently working on his Masters in Public Administration from Penn State.
